QA Tester Kronos (Bangalore) Contract
- Minimum 5 – 6 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role on Kronos Workforce Central application V7/8.0 in different modules like Workforce Integration Manager (Kronos), Custom Reports, Timecards and Pay policies.
- Good experience in Documents creation which helps in estimating the testing effort required, test coverage, requirement tracking/tracing, etc.
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
- Work with cross-functional teams to report bugs and errors to concerned teams to ensure quality throughout the process.
- Proficient in writing and executing Test cases adhering to best engineering practices for different processes and scenarios based on requirement.
- Defect tracking and preparation of defect reports and get them fixed working closely with concerned teams.
- Self-motivated and self-directed abilities to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment with "time-critical" deadlines.
- Good communication skills with ability to independently work in the team and coordinate with stake holders and the business.
- Ability to work in a distributed team environment and take initiative to drive towards quality solutions with minimal supervision.
- Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Possesses a team and customer service provision orientation.
- SQL – Good hands on knowledge on SQL, Triggers and Indexes, Stored Procedure and Functions
- Knowledge on APIs and Oracle fusion/ HCM is a PLUS.
- More specific details of the Technical and Functional areas of Kronos.
- Proficient in writing and executing the test cases specific to Kronos WFC areas like Workforce Integration Manager (WIM), Custom Reports, Timecards and Pay policies.
- Good Knowledge on below areas to better write and execute the test cases :
- Setup Configurations – Pay code, Pay rule, Work rule, PCD, Zones, Access profiles and Accruals.
- Functional – Timecard, Genies, Hyper finds, Approval and Signoff
- Integration – Knowledge on Workforce Integration Manager to understand interfaces to extract payroll data, Import and Export Interfaces.
- Reporting – Kronos built and Custom reports and integration of custom reports with Kronos application
- Complete life cycle of the work force employees – New starters, transfer in/outs, Pay process and Leavers.
