The Contractor shall provide the Services by deploying 01 competent personnel (“Personnelâ€) to support the ICT training needs of the Authority
Duration of Service
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
Mondays to Fridays: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public holidays and June and December school holidays.
Service not required and not paid in June and December school holidays as follows: -1 December 2024 – 31 December 2024 -1 June 2025 – 30 June 2025 -1 December 2025 – 31 December 2025
Scope of Services
The Services required are set out as follows:
Conducting ICT Lessons
The ICT Trainer will conduct ICT lessons for all students from Primary
1 to Primary 6. He/she will ensure that students meet the objectives of
the ICT lessons. He/she must be able to manage students and
engage them in every lesson. The ICT Trainer must be able to adapt
quickly and be prepared to teach new or unfamiliar tools/software.
The trainer must be competent in teaching common Microsoft Office
tools, Google and Apple apps.
Planning ICT Lessons
The ICT Trainer will work with the SH (ICT) on gathering the ICT
needs of the school and propose lessons that will benefit the students.
The ICT Trainer, together with the SH (ICT) will map out the specific
ICT skills to be taught and draft the Scheme of Work for each level.
The ICT Trainer will prepare detailed lesson plans which he/she will
subsequently carry out.
Upkeep of the Computer Labs
The ICT Trainer will ensure cleanliness and tidiness of all the
computer labs in the school. He/she will maintain order of the labs
before, during and after ICT lessons. The ICT Trainer may also be
entasked to decorate its walls with relevant posters and notices.
Conduct ad-hoc lessons on use of Coding / Robotics Programme
The ICT Trainer may have to conduct lessons on Scratch or Micro: bit
programming.
Maintaining records of school-owned ICT assets
Assist ICT Manager to design inventory management system using
Excel VBA. The ICT Trainer will assist to conduct stocktake and
maintain records of movements of inventory.
Working with other ICT Staff
The ICT Trainer must work closely with the school Desktop Engineer
(DE) as well the ICT Manager, and other teaching staff in the school.
Other Tasks
Assist teachers in administrative tasks related to ICT for example conducting online surveys.
Design of posters and banners for school events
Recording and editing of photos and videos
Assist teachers in administrative tasks during school and national E- Oral examinations
Set up PA system during school`s assembly sessions.
Take photographs during school events
Qualification, Skill & Experience of the Contractor’s Personnel
The Personnel should preferably have the following qualifications, skills
and experience:
Qualification:
Possess certification on Google G Suite / Workspace Training.
Possess certification on fundamental python programming. Python skill is used to create/maintain inventory management system.
Possess certification on basic Micro: bit Training.
Possess certification in Photoshop/Digital Media skills.
Skill/Experience:
At least 3 years of experience working in an MOE school as an ICT Trainer.
Proficient in Apple apps for presentation like Clips, Keynote and iMovie.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
Proficient in Google Suite for Education (namely Google Docs, Google Sites, Google Sheets and Google Slides).
Proficient in video/photo editing in software such as Photoshop and Premier Ro. Proficient in multimedia and graphic design to create posters for school events.
Proficient in technical photography and videography skills. Proficient in Scratch to conduct Coding lessons for students. Proficient in Micro: bit. Able to train students in use of Micro: bit.
Experience in handling school AV equipment for daily classroom use and for school events. E.g.: experience in handling projectors, visualizers and school hall sound system
Experience in Apple Device Management System in schools.
