As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for the assessment and analysis of business requirements across business units. You will be part of an agile team responsible for products used by the Financial Industry and Client officers for Financial Supervision function.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with business users and project team members on project initiation, solution design, implementation and post implementation support.
Support the Product Owner to own, groom and prioritise Product backlog for planning of Product releases.
Facilitate the solution design effort and help to develop innovative solutions while complying to existing standards, guidelines and processes.
Plan, design and facilitate workshops to solicit requirements and walkthrough solutions;
Perform business requirements analysis.
Propose alternate solutions to meet or improve the desired objectives based on best practices and industry solutions.
Facilitate and propose optimisation or reengineering of business processes.
Influence stakeholders in agreement to a common desired outcome.
Collaborate with respective IT teams to support the project team to deliver high quality deliverables.
Draft user requirement and functional specifications document together with IT vendors and obtain sign-off.
Verify that user requirements are achievable and support business users during UAT and post-implementation phases.
Perform and support pre-User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the quality of the deliverables before handing over the System for UAT.

Preferably more than 3 years of relevant business analysis experience.

Business Analyst
With hands-on technical know-how/expertise of the cloud environment and has seen through the end-to-end deployment/migration of at least 1-2 systems in cloud (ie experience) in order to run the cloud migration of our systems (which a few will be run concurrently)
Perform business analysis and/or acting as point of contact with external vendors/integrators and various business representatives
Ensuring the quality of deliverables from the integrators, involving thorough review, feedback, and alignment with business stakeholders on respective areas
Responsible for enhancing the product backlog with detailed specifications
Clarify and communicate the specifications to all the relevant stakeholders involved

5+ years of overall experience performing business analysis professional software engineering
Any experience in IT transformation projects involving portfolio management system and/or Core banking applications
Good knowledge of Portfolio Management, Advisory, Risk modelling and Optimization functions is added advantage
Good knowledge of Order Life Cycle and related functions
JIRA and Confluence knowledge is required
Detail oriented and good documentation skill is required
Ability to work in a multicultural environment (Asia + Europe)
Good presentation skills
Knowledge about REST API design standards, patterns and best-practices
REST API development experience is a plus
Experienced in Waterfall and Scrum methodology
Ability to work in fast-paced environments
