Project Manager Contract
Project Manager, ICT and Civil Engineering
The candidate is expected to show his deep experience and understanding in managing projects either in the domain of ICT and Civil delivery works, or in the domain of IT and Software/Application delivery works.
It is essential that both the project managers have experience with Qatar authorities projects deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Manage stake holders expectations including clients and partners/vendors. Building strong relationship.
- Make critical decisions, provide direction and leadership to managers on project management, technical management, financial and operational management.
- Report project progress to steering committee, stake holders and senior management
- Monitor development and implementation progress, ensuring quality and project performance
- Work with project managers and partners to manage project finances and human resources effectively and in optimal cost
- Ensure legal compliance and permits required for projects
- Identify and mitigate project risks
- Work in an office and at project site
Requirements/Skills
- Possess both leadership and business management skills to manage multi-disciplinary teams and suppliers, in an international environment
- At least 10 to 15 years of experience in a leadership role and managing more than two projects.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and is able to present well in project steering committee, and good at senior management updates
- Able to use own initiative to move project in a complex environment
- Understand software development, IT, OT, network and cybersecurity.
- Understand system safety and workplace safety
- Thorough and pay attention to details
